In this case, the shakeup this year seems to be the newly entering Drop of Light! An idol group consisting of Manestralia's Prince Covet Dawndrop and Prince Stardew Serandite! Live from Manestralia Channel 5 HQ, I, Groovy Flow bring you this exclusive interview!

Groovy: Thank you for taking the time to do this interview! I'm sure your fans will appreciate the pair of you taking the time to really connect on a ground level with them through this.

Stardew: Aye, no prob! Been looking forward to meeting you myself!

Covet: Yeah, same here! You've worked at MC5 for years, and you seemed like the best option for us to really connect with our newfound fans on the level we need and want to.

Stardew: Seriously, he ain't kidding! Your reporting is unparalleled!

Groovy: Why thank you both, I appreciate that. That's the perks of sticking to one thing for many years! Now, in terms of Drop of Light, can you both describe what exactly Drop of Light even is?

Stardew: That would be our duo name! Since we're stepping into the world of music, we figured it'd be good to make our name stand out from the rest.

Covet: And considering what we have to offer for the continent as a whole, i'm sure that our name will carry on through years to come!

Stardew: Yeah, that'll come soon enough! Once we figure out the logistics...

Covet: And actually produce our first two songs.

Groovy: First two songs? That sounds exciting! What exactly would these songs be called? Or is it top secret until the reveal?

Covet: Well, we've been through many names for our first two songs. One WAS going to be called City Drop, but that doesn't really cover what the first song really IS.

Stardew: Another name was going to be Sky Soar, but we eventually settled on a definitive name. That name being...

Covet: ...?

Stardew: That's your cue, mate.

Covet: OH! I-Uh, the name that we settled on was the name entitled Spectral Stream! And believe me, y'all ain't ready for it!

Stardew: Yeah, we've got something that'll ROCK this continent!

Covet: And this is a callout to other groups too! We're VERY open to collabs once we're established ourselves!

Stardew: Only after we've established ourselves, though! Remember that Covet... Before you wonder off trying to collaborate with Coarse Crew or Waveplay!

Groovy: I really dig your excitement and determination for this! It's infectious! How do you plan on going forward? Are you afraid of any competition?

Covet: Competition? WHAT competition? Bring them here, we'll prove who's superior!

Stardew: Easy there, mate. If there's competition, it don't bother me none. But as you can see, he gets riled up about any mention of it.

Covet: You're NOT protective about our group?! Lame, Stardew. Just lame.

Stardew: I ain't ever said that!

Covet: You don't NEED to say it!

Stardew: SO ANYHOW. We plan on moving forward... In our own special way...!

Groovy: Well, I can see that this is a conflicting subject! I'd usually ask how you two met eachother and how the group formed, but you two've lived together for the entirety of your lives, so I suppose my alternative question would be, what exactly caused you to choose this as a venture?

Stardew: Well, not to violate our private lives, but it was because of our dad.

Covet: Yeah, he suggested it. We took a liking to it. It was simple really!

Stardew: Not to mention, me and Covet ain't spent time together in what feels like eons!

Covet: Well, I suppose that's true!

Stardew: You suppose?

Covet: Weren't we fighting earlier over which fruit was better for lunchtime? Apple supremacy.

Stardew: Don't you dare start this again.

Groovy: I suppose we have his majesty to thank for the pair of you gracing the music industry! We're out of time now, but before we wrap this up, is there anything you want to say to any first timers of Drop of Light?
